I cut out both the book fabrics today. I began construction with this one because I was trying out using calico as a batting. I wanted to see how it would go with the thicknesses and turning out.
I'm very happy with the final product, though I need practise my hand stitching.

A lovely neat project to nibble on over an afternoon of here-and-there sewing.
